Jefferson Feed Metairie

Their staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. The gentleman who checked me out offered to help me get the 40 pound bag of kitty litter I bought into my car. I told him I'd be okay. He told me if I change my mind just come back. I appreciate him being considerate for offering assistance if I needed it

Buyer be ware, I am very disappointed the Jefferson Feed in Metairie does not sell lawn care products. They confirmed they are the same company as Jefferson Feed on Jefferson Hwy . . . This is misleading and not very customer focused. They should name this store something different.

If you’re even a couple minutes past the cut off for the dog wash they won’t let you use them, regardless of size or breed of your dog. Otherwise definitely recommend them, though they seem more willing to raise prices on dog food vs cat food, since tariffs have started my dogs food has doubled but cats food has only gone up a couple dollars. Employees at both locations are pretty chill, knowledgeable and pretty nice

Stopped in Veterans location today for the first time. I had a very unpleasant experience. I was not greeted upon entry although I spoke first. Staff is VERY unwelcoming. After the older Mrs Tingle with the clipboard made me very uncomfortable I couldn’t even shop like I wanted to.. why are you watching me???? I still made a purchase but I’ll never shop this location again.

Isabella is such a sweetheart! Give this girly a raise!! She was super informative. Have such a comfy vibe and went through my picked items and helped me pick out raw hide vs not. Being I wanted to stick to a certain diet. She seemed happy to be there and actually wanted to talk to us as customers. Jefferson feed always has a variety. Love this store! Took a friend to check it out and brag on it. They loved it as well. Reasonable prices ! 10/10
